Speech Pathologists are responsible for assessing and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. They work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, clinics, and private practices. Speech Pathologists help patients who have difficulty communicating or swallowing by developing individualized treatment plans. They may also provide counseling to patients and their families. In order to become a Speech Pathologist, you will need to earn a graduate degree in speech pathology from an accredited program.
