Surgeons

Surgeons are healthcare professionals who perform surgeries to treat illnesses and injuries. They work in hospitals, clinics, and private practices. In order to become a surgeon, you will need to earn an undergraduate degree in medicine from an accredited program and complete a residency program. You will also need to pass the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE).
